My first blog post for "Newport Weddings by The Knot"!

I am so thrilled to be writing my first "The Knot- Newport Weddings" blog post!!

First I want to congratulate you on your engagement! Next I want to tell you if you are considering Newport, RI as your destination for your wedding, don't think twice...seriously it will be the best decision you make when it comes to planning your wedding. For those couples who already know Newport is their spot... you are in the right place to help with all your planning needs in Newport. Follow my blog & don't hesitate to comment and definitely feel free to contact me if you need further planning assistance!!

I am really excited about this first post because I can't wait to tell you all about one of my amazing clients who is getting married this August. Just recently we spent a weekend together in Newport, RI to meet with vendors and venues for their wedding. What a fun weekend filled with great memories (for me too)!

My friend Nick at The Chanler at Cliff Walk made sure they were all well taken care of...what a luxurious place to stay and also a magnificent place to get married!

We then had a trial run for the bride's hair & makeup. I of course directed the hair & makeup, but Courtney & Leah from New Leaf Hair Studio and my great friend Maggie Leonard (she was a national rep for Laura Mercier!) did all the amazing work and transformed the bride...this styling team can take on my stylists from my Glamour Magazine days, no joke.

The bride & I even did a little shopping in town and we found her this stylish navy & white blazer for the shoot at
Chance N' Lulu in Newport.

Producing this shoot I was totally in my element. My SECRET...the AMAZING Mariah & Trish from
Snap! Photography and Mike Cyr from Buzz Media Co. Talk about STYLE!

Here are the Snap! photos (they look like they should be this months fashion spread for The Knot or maybe even Vogue!)

Check back soon to see the video...yes, we even have video of their shoot, and it is not just any ordinary video!
