We started in the morning meeting with Katie from Hotel Viking, then Mariah & Trish, Snap! Photography, both came to town and showed off their gorgeous wedding photography.

A quick peek at The Hydrangea House Inn, Grant & Dennis are just darling! Then we checked out The Hilltop Inn which is just fantastic. Owned by the owners of The Francis Malbone House. It is a five bedroom, adorable B&B that is so fantastic for weddings and you can fill all five rooms and have an entire house for your bridal party or family!

Then we went a saw the Hyatt in Newport and their rooms...was very impressed. With the major renovation they did there about a year ago this is such a great hotel for room blocks and to suggest to guests, especially if you are getting married at Belle Mer or The Regatta Place!

Then off to The Mooring restaurant for a lovely seafood lunch and then a look at The Mill Street Inn & The Vanderbilt Hall for guests. Good thing to know, The Vanderbilt Hall just found out yesterday that come 2011 it will be a full private membership club. So if you are getting married in 2011 this will not bean option for your guests unless they plan on a buy out of the entire hotel. 41 North though would be another great option by that time as their hotel will be complete.

The bride and mother-of-the-bride also wanted to know for themselves and guests where to shop...there is the adorable Chance-n-Lulu. I love and always find something cute in Kristina Richards Studio and then there is the fabulous Mandarine. of course many more shops, but those are some of my top favs in Newport, RI!
